BMX stands for Bicycle Motorcross, and, inspired by Motocross with motorbikes, was developed in California as a way of using bikes in the early 1970s. BMX riding has seen its star rising ever since, and by 2003 the Olympic committee decided it should have its debut as an Olympic sport in 2008. To train for your Olympic moment of fame, come and meet our BMX teachers! They can work with you at any level, and will take you from basic curving on ramps, to 180 turns, dropping in, and more complicated tricks and flatland stunts. Everyone likes their bike set up a certain way, and our teachers and volunteers can help you get yours just the way you like it. If you don't have a bike of your own, but really want to give it a try..Boardroom are here for you! We have a limited selection of BMX bikes of different sizes for you to borrow while you're at the park, and we have puncture repair kits and inner tubes to solve any mishaps.
