Born in the 1940s, when surfers wanted something to ride when not out on the waves, Skateboarding is now a hugely popular sport, with 18.5 Million people describing themselves as Skateboarders in 2002, and 85% of those were under 18. Skateboarding when you're a beginner takes a lot of commitment and perseverance, as the early stages can be hard going. Our dedicated team of young teachers are here to make that bumpy road a little bit smoother, and have developed techniques for teaching at all levels of Skateboarding. They can also provide advice about sourcing boards and parts, and can provide advice and assistance for setting up boards.

If you don't have your own skateboard, don't worry! We have boards that people can borrow to skate at the park, as well as pads, and helmets to rent. We can also advise you about what to buy and where to buy it if you want to get your own.
